HyponatremiaIf you have any questions, we would love to help.
Hyponatremia means low sodium concentrations in the blood.
This can be caused by medications or changes in the body function. If it is a medication causing it, the medication can often be removed, and the sodium levels will return to normal levels. If it is caused by another change to the body, medication is often needed to help regulate the sodium levels. Symptoms of low sodium can include nausea, vomiting, headache, restlessness, irritability, weakness, spasms, cramps, fatigue, confusion or other mental status changes. The medications used to treat low sodium are often costly and involve many barriers to the patients actually obtaining them. DirectRx is here to help with these issues to ensure the patient receives the appropriate therapy. We work with the physicians’ offices and insurance companies closely to guarantee timely delivery of medications right to the patient’s door. Patients requiring this therapy are often quite ill, and we believe it is our job to take the burden of ensuring their medications get to them off of their shoulders, so they can focus on getting better.
